There are currently two drivers on the Red Bull team, as 2009 sees the retiring off of the track of David Coulthard, one of the most popular formula one racing team drivers. He has made the transition off of the track and on to the team’s consulting duties. Team Red Bull is perhaps one of the most popular teams throughout the entire sport of F1 racing and therefore more and more individuals are becoming aware of the other two drivers on the team Webber and Vettel – and rightfully so, throughout the current season there have been a number of milestones reached by the racing team.
This season has been a stellar one for the Red Bull Racing team. Through the 2009 season, the team has not only won their first Grand Prix, but the team has also created a milestone with their fastest lap through a qualifying round, which resulted in a pole position. As if these accomplishments were not impressive enough, the team also had their first finish in which both drivers on the team finished in first and second place in a popular 1-2 finish. Through these milestones, the drivers and Team Red Bull have become increasingly popular with F1 fans throughout the globe.
Through the funding from Red Bull and the expertise that comes from the other members of staff, the Red Bull team is one of the most popular throughout the circuit. There are other teams, as well as other drives that are sponsored by the beverage company including the Red Bull Junior team, as well as other drivers within the feeder team for the formula one races – but the Formula 1 Racing Red Bull Team remains the most popular.
